Shopping & Eating

In keeping with the village atmosphere, there are a few independent shops in the area with a post office, hairdressers and a village shop on the main street. Locals have a choice of two pubs – The White Lion and The Beeches Bar and Grill – both providing a relaxed evening atmosphere in the village. There are a number of secondary schools  in nearby Solihull available to older pupils. Solihull School and St Martin’s School are ranked fifth and sixth for the top independent schools in the region.
